A post graduate researcher from Oman, Ali Mohamed Taqi al Lawati has been awarded the Andrew Hendry Award from the University of Nottingham in the field of renewable energy resources.
The Omani Cultural Attaché in London said, “We congratulate Lawati for winning the Andrew Hendry Award 2021 from the University of Nottingham in one of the fields of renewable energy resources.”
Lawati also received international awards in some of his researches. The award confirms his great contribution and role in training undergraduate students and some supervisors.
“I am extremely honoured to be a recipient of this year’s Endowed Awards of Nottingham, which recognise outstanding research achievements. I am grateful to my supervisors, the university, the researcher academy and the Faculty of Engineering,” Lawati said.
