H E Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, issued a ministerial decision (No 52/2021) amending certain provisions of the previous one issued in 2009 (No 31/2009).

The ministry has released a list of agricultural locations that are being quarantined in several wilayats, including Khasab, Dibba, Madha and Bukha (Musandam), Barka, Rustaq (South Batinah), Buraimi, Mahdah, Al Sininah (Buraimi), Adam,  Hmara, Izki (Dakhliyah), Samad al Shan (South Sharqiyah) and Ibri, Yanqul, Dhank in (Dhahirah).

These wilayats shall be declared as areas of agricultural quarantine until a new decision is issued in this regard, the decision stated. The decision was issued on April 22 and came into force the following day.
