Ronald McDonald’s tour brings smiles to faces of children across sultanate

Ronald McDonald’s five-day tour in Oman not only painted smiles on children’s faces but it also got them and their families to groove together to his joyful steps.

Ronald McDonald’s tour in Oman included magic shows, exciting games and fabulous McDonald’s gift items. The fun-filled event demonstrated the brand’s ongoing commitment to creating feel good moments ‘every time, everywhere’.

Ali K Daud, president and development licensee of McDonald’s Oman, said, “We take great pride in seeing children and parents enjoying quality time together at our McDonald’s restaurants. Ronald McDonald regaling the children illustrates our brand promise to creating feel-good moments. Ronald McDonald’s show took place in Sur, Darsait, Qurm, Sarooj, Al Khuwayr, Azaiba, Ma’bela, Seeb, South Mawaleh and Barka. The brand ambassador also made his presence felt at Oasis Mall, Muscat Grand Mall and Oman Avenues Mall.

Ronald McDonald concluded his tour in Oman at The Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children (AWHC) and Oman Down Syndrome Association delighting children with special needs by giving them gift items and their favourite Happy Meals.

Zuwaina al Barwani from the Oman Down Syndrome Association said, “For many years, McDonald’s has been making children with special needs feel a little more special. The time Ronald McDonald spent with the children was truly cherished.”

“The kids were really excited and happy to see Ronald McDonald. Thanks to McDonald’s for the delightful visit to our centre. It was indeed an enjoyable morning for our children,” said Aysha Nasser al Hasni, AWHC in-charge at Azaiba centre.
