Rain in several parts of Musandam

Muscat - 

Several parts of Musandam governorate including Kumzar village received heavy rainfall leading to overflowing of wadis on Saturday.

The Directorate General of Meteorology has forecast clear to partly cloudy skies over Musandam, parts of Al Hajar Mountains and along the coastal areas of the sultanate with chances of isolated rain over the next two days.

Other parts of the sultanate will see mainly clear skies, the Met department said. Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation has issued an advisory asking citizens to avoid crossing flooded wadis and venturing out into the sea especially near the Musandam coast till Tuesday evening. The wave height in Musandam is expected to be 2.5m from Sunday till Tuesday.
