The first Omani-Japanese Economic Cooperation Forum for SMEs began at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday.

The five-day event is being held to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of Omani-Japanese relations, said Tariq bin Sulaiman al Farsi, CEO of Al Raffd Fund.

He added, “We will organise an exhibition of products by entrepreneurs from both countries. Today, we announce that Al Raffd Fund will establish the first international electronic platform, ‘EB2B’ and Japan will be the first country to host this platform to facilitate communication between entrepreneurs of the two countries and support partnership in business and services.”
