OCCI chief receives Islamic World Jewels Award

Said bin Saleh al Kiyoumi, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), received the Jewels of the Islamic World Award on Tuesday.

The award was given by the International Business Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Malaysia, which focuses on the contribution of individuals by highlighting their roles in the growth of the economies of countries in the Islamic world. The ceremony is held annually by the centre.

Kiyoumi thanked the International Business Center for the award which is an incentive to continue serving the public and support the growth of the private sector in the sultanate. He said that the award recognises the achievements of everyone including members of the Board of Directors of OCCI and the executives and businessmen in the country.
