Salim Omar al Hashmi, chairman, Al Nimr Expo said that more than 150 organisations including universities, colleges, training institutions and companies from different countries will be participating in the expo.
The three-day event will take place under the patronage of the ministries of Higher Education, Civil Services and Manpower, stated a press release. EduTraC Oman provides a direct gateway and an ideal platform for leading local and foreign universities and training institutions to network with students, parents and working executives interested in education and training at all levels.
The expo will offer a strategic awareness opportunity to higher education and training providers to strengthen their presence in Oman’s education market. The expo will feature a pavilion for job seekers where they can meet HR officials from different industry sectors, associations, government organisations and private sector and get information regarding on-the-job training and vacancies. There will also be a dedicated pavilion for banking and finance institutions.
Young entrepreneurs can interact with personnel to find out about financing their businesses. Said Amur al Rahbi, director, qualifications, equivalence and recognition at the Ministry of Higher Education said, “EduTraC Oman has established itself as the benchmark event and the Ministry of Higher Education is delighted to organise the second edition under its patronage.”
