Mahesh has been in Oman for almost 25 years. He worked with the State Bank of India group, Banque Indo Suez, BankMuscat and Merrill Lynch before starting Trinity Investments. Why Trinity? Apparently because of the three women in his life... his wife and two daughters! You can contact him at email@example.com
Every alternate week, when the TT becomes due, I just sit at my computer and curse a bit, quite like Wodehouse. The intention is to write a hard-hitting column like The Daily Mood, but it’s so bloody hard to do that, and since that mood plays truant, one just wants to hit oneself, hard! I think it was Wodehouse (obviously) who wrote: “One of the poets, whose name I cannot recall, has a passage, which I am unable at the moment to remember, in one of his works, which for the time being has slipped my mind, which hits off admirably this age-old situation.”
On May Day, yours faithfully will reach the milestone of having been in this beautiful country for half my life. But then, this TT may not necessarily be about me or May or the beauty of this Paradise.
“I spent the afternoon musing on Life. If you come to think of it, what a queer thing Life is! So unlike anything else, don’t you know, if you see what I mean?”
As March limps towards April, one hopes and prays that the madness associated with the month ends.
March 14 was Pi day and March 15 was Salad day, and March 16 is TT day.
