Muscat – ITHCA Group has unveiled the second edition of its Scale Award, aiming to empower technology startups and strengthen Oman’s innovation ecosystem.

Launched in partnership with leading public and private sector organisations, the initiative seeks to create opportunities for entrepreneurs while highlighting the power of collaboration across economic sectors.

The Scale Award offers startups a comprehensive platform, including consultancy and technical support, funding opportunities, and access to investors and industry experts from Oman and the region.

Registration is open to entrepreneurs across sectors, with some nominations made directly by partner organisations. Shortlisted startups will present their ideas to a panel of judges during exhibition days, with winners receiving mentorship and resources to accelerate their market growth.

Said bin Abdullah al Mandhari, CEO of ITHCA Group and Secretary-General of the award, said the initiative is designed to nurture entrepreneurship and foster a culture of innovation. “The strength of this award lies in the partnerships and integration between public and private sectors,” he noted.

Mandhari added that ITHCA aims to expand the range of award categories and partner organisations to create an integrated support system combining mentorship, consultancy, funding and access to investors. “The Scale Award is about transforming entrepreneurial ideas into competitive projects that can contribute to Oman’s economic diversification in line with Oman Vision 2040.”

The award underscores ITHCA’s commitment to nurturing innovation, building an enabling environment for startups and driving the digital economy to create success stories that resonate both locally and across the region.

ITHCA Group was established in 2019 to play a key role in ensuring investments focus on supporting the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as investing in the necessary infrastructure to achieve this goal. Soon after its establishment, the group integrated companies like Oman Broadband, Oman Technology Fund, Oman Towers and Space Communication Technologies under its umbrella.
