Salalah – A tourist trail was inaugurated in Royal Razat Farm, Salalah on Monday allowing visitors to explore the facility. Managed by Royal Court Affairs, the 1,085 acre farm – of which 900 acres are cultivated – is offering guided tours through its diverse agricultural sections showcasing crops, medicinal plants and traditional irrigation systems fed by the Razat spring.

The farm also features a banana gene bank, indigenous frankincense and fig trees, and rare species such as baobab and giant ficus, alongside agricultural pottery dating back to the era of Sultan Said bin Taimour.

Entry fee is RO2 for Omanis and GCC citizens, RO3 for resident expatriates and RO5 for foreign tourists. Visitors younger than six and older than 60 enter for free.
