New Delhi- Superhero by day, superstar at night. Bollywood sensation Hrithik Roshan, fresh off the success of War 2, is now set to direct Krrish 4.  The most surprising part of this announcement— it’s his first time doing so.

As he was the face behind Krrish’s superhero mask for the past three films, audiences speculate that he may provide the franchise a fresh perspective no one has seen in this film franchise.  After all, no one could know more about Krrish and his trials and tribulations other than Krrish himself.

In a report by Deccan Chronicle, the actor had this to say about his upcoming directorial debut— “I hope there’s a director in me that I can be proud of as I step into the director’s shoes for my next film. I’m going to be that person in the room who knows the least, in so many ways. It’s a new journey, and I’m excited that I’m not keeping my life monotonous.”

With assistance from YRF Studios and producers like Aditya Chopra, movie-goers are sure to have a good time with the fun fight scenes and thrilling storylines this time around.

Krrish aficionados hope to see some time travel in this movie as it’s a superhero trope that the franchise has never delved into so far. Unfortunately, information on the upcoming film release is sparse right now as filming is expected to begin next year. Let’s hope that Hrithik Roshan’s first film-project as a director won’t be his last as well.
