New Delhi – Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the cancellation of the Class XII board examinations for students enrolled in affiliated schools across the Middle East. This decision follows a comprehensive review of the feasibility of conducting these assessments, taking into account various requests and inputs received from school administrators and national authorities within the affected regions.

According to the official circular issued on March 15, the cancellation applies to all examinations originally scheduled to take place between March 16 and April 10. This directive specifically impacts students residing in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, any examinations that had been previously postponed through earlier communications in March are now also confirmed as cancelled.

The Board has clarified that the methodology for the declaration of results for the affected Class XII candidates will be established and communicated separately at a later date. Official copies of this notification have been forwarded to the relevant Indian Embassies and Consulates within these nations to ensure necessary action and dissemination of information to the student community and educational institutions.
