Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a Royal Decree, No. 104/2025, on December 9, 2025, formalising two significant appointments within the state apparatus.

The Decree stipulates the appointment of H H Sayyid Loay bin Ghalib al Said as the new Secretary-General of the Diwan of Royal Court, granting him the Special Grade.

Additionally, H H Sayyid Nader bin Majid al Said was appointed as a Consultant in the Diwan of Royal Court, maintaining the same rank and financial allocations as his previous position. These high-level appointments are effective immediately, marking a notable administrative change within the Sultanate’s central governing body.
