Ibri – Honourable Lady Sayyida Ahad Abdullah Hamed al Busaidi, Spouse of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, visited Dhahirah on Monday, where she reviewed a range of governmental, community and student-led initiatives in applied sciences, economics, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and innovation.

An exhibition, held at Al Muhallab bin Abi Sufra Hall in Ibri, showcased projects from various sectors, highlighting efforts to enhance skills, technology development and community engagement across the governorate.

The Honourable Lady also toured Ibri Fort and visited another exhibition, which included products by artisan families and women entrepreneurs, as well as archaeological findings from the World Heritage registered Bat site.

She praised the heritage of Ibri Fort and reiterated the importance of preserving it while enhancing its role as a cultural and tourism destination that introduces younger generations to the history and traditions of the wilayat.
