Sur – The Royal Oman Police have arrested an Asian national in the Governorate of South Sharqiyah for possessing counterfeit currency and attempting to circulate it by exchanging it for legal tender.

According to the South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command, tools used in the fraudulent operations were also seized during the arrest. Legal procedures against the individual have been completed.

In an official statement, the local authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
