Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman was awarded the Best Country Pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 in Dubai, in recognition of its innovative design that reflected the country’s cultural identity while incorporating modern elements.
The award was received on Wednesday by H E Salem bin Mohammed al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism.
Anwar bin Saeed al Balushi, Director of the Tourism Events Department at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, said the pavilion stood out for its blend of Omani authenticity with modern technology. “The design was both innovative and rooted in heritage,” he said.
He added that the pavilion drew a large number of visitors, attracted by the variety of tourism services and products offered by its sections.
Oman concludes its participation in the 32nd edition of ATM on Thursday. This year’s pavilion featured 37 tourism and hospitality companies and establishments, reflecting the country’s growing appeal as a travel destination.
