Muscat – A delegation from the Indian Coast Guard, headed by Admiral S. Paramesh, Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, paid an official visit to the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) on Monday.
The delegation was received upon arrival by the Deputy Chief of the MSC. During the visit, the guests were given a comprehensive briefing on the centre’s key responsibilities, including its role in safeguarding the maritime domain of the Sultanate of Oman.
Officials highlighted the MSC’s efforts in maintaining the safety and security of navigation and the marine environment. The delegation was also introduced to the centre’s advanced infrastructure, modern systems, and cutting-edge technologies that support its national duties.
The visit reflects the continued cooperation between Oman and India in enhancing maritime security and promoting stability in regional waters.
