Muscat – The Coast Guard Police Command responded to a fire late last night, that broke out on a yacht off the coast of Azaiba in Muscat Governorate.

All five individuals on board were safely evacuated. One person, who suffered from the effects of the fire, was transferred to hospital by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority to receive the necessary treatment.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
