Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted tourists in Pahalgam, located in Jammu and Kashmir, in the Republic of India.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman expressed its firm denunciation of the act and extended its sincere condolences to the friendly Indian government and people, as well as to the families of the victims. The Sultanate also wished a speedy recovery to all those injured in the attack.

The Ministry reaffirmed Oman’s unwavering stance in rejecting all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, regardless of their causes or justifications. Oman reiterated its solidarity with India during this difficult time and called for international cooperation in combating terrorism in all its forms.
