Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to His Eminence Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, following the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis at the age of 88.

In the message, His Majesty expressed his heartfelt condolences and profound sympathy to the people of the Vatican and to Christians across the globe, mourning the loss of the spiritual leader.
