Muscat – The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the Special Taskforce Command of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), carried out an inspection campaign in the Wilayat of Bausher, resulting in the arrest of 36 expatriates for violations of labour and foreign residency laws.

According to an official statement, the individuals arrested include 18 of Bangladeshi nationality, five Pakistanis, four Indians, four Egyptians, three Yemenis, one Iraqi, and one Jordanian.

Legal proceedings against the violators are currently underway.

The ROP continues to emphasise the importance of adhering to the Sultanate’s laws and regulations, urging the public to report any suspected violations.
