The Hague, Netherlands – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met Dick Schoof, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, at the headquarters of the Dutch parliament in The Hague on Wednesday.

The meeting reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and ways of promoting these to serve interests of the Omani and Dutch peoples. It also discussed areas of economic and investment cooperation between the two sides. Furthermore, His Majesty the Sultan and the Dutch PM exchanged views on developments in global arena and touched on matters of common concern.

Following the meeting, commemorative photos were taken of His Majesty the Sultan and PM Schoof with the King and Queen of the Netherlands.

The meeting was attended by H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and Caspar Veldkamp, Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs.
