Muscat – The General Department of Criminal Investigations and Research has arrested an Arab national for promoting and circulating counterfeit foreign currency, and attempting to exchange it for legal tender.

Authorities confirmed that legal procedures against the suspect are currently underway.

The Royal Oman Police continues to urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious financial activity to help maintain the integrity of the country’s financial system.
