Tokyo, Japan – Emperor Naruhito of Japan received H H Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, on Wednesday as part of his ongoing visit to Japan.

During the meeting, H H Sayyid Theyazin conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Emperor, wishing him good health, happiness, and continued prosperity for the Japanese people.

In return, the Emperor entrusted H H Sayyid Theyazin to convey his heartfelt greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, wishing him continued health and well-being, and wishing the Omani people continued progress and development.

The two sides also took the opportunity to review the strong historical relations between the two nations, discussing various areas of cooperation and partnership, and exploring ways to further strengthen and advance their ties to serve mutual interests.
