Sur – The Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, under the South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command, has successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 50 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and a quantity of psychotropic tablets into Oman.

According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), two individuals of Iranian nationality were arrested in connection with the smuggling operation. Authorities confirmed that legal procedures are currently being finalised.
