Muscat – The Supreme Judicial Council has introduced a new service that allows people to register power of attorney issued outside Oman through the Tawtheeq system. To use this service, individuals can log into the Tawtheeq system, choose the option for ‘Power of Attorney issued outside Oman,’ and then visit the nearest notary public office to complete the process.

A power of attorney is a legal document that allows someone to act on behalf of another person, especially in situations where the person cannot be present to handle important tasks or make decisions. This new service aims to make it easier for people to register documents from abroad, saving time and effort.
