Muscat – Majlis A’Shura will host H E Dr Madiha al Shaibani, Minister of Education, on Wednesday.

The session will focus on a Ministry of Education statement, with discussions on various critical issues, including school education policies, quality of education, human resources training, and the role of private schools in Oman.

During the session, members of the shura will engage in an in-depth discussion with H E Madiha to address pressing issues which are shaping the educational landscape of the country.

In addition, the shura will deliberate on a series of draft laws referred by the government, alongside proposed draft laws submitted by State Council. Among the key pieces of legislation to be discussed are the draft law on collecting state dues, draft law on rights of persons with disabilities, and draft law on combating tobacco and its derivatives.
