Muscat – The Arab Interior Ministers Council has awarded the prestigious Prince Naif Medal for Arab Security of Excellent Class to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The recognition is a testament to His Majesty’s steadfast and wise policies in fostering security and stability across the region.

The award was presented during the 42nd Arab Interior Ministers Council meeting held in Tunisia on Sunday. Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, accepted the honour on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan.

The Prince Naif Medal, instituted by the Arab Interior Ministers Council in memory of the late Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz al Saud, is awarded to leaders who have made significant contributions to the promotion of security in the Arab world.
