Muscat – The Royal Oman Police has announced partial road closures on Friday, February 7, 2025, to accommodate the Muscat Classic stage of the Tour of Oman 2025. The event, which marks the third edition of the Muscat Classic, will see cyclists compete along a challenging 174 km route from Al Mouj to Al Bustan, featuring key climbs such as Bousher, Amerat, Wadi Kabir, Hamriyah, and Jissah.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider alternative routes, as traffic flow will be affected along the race course. Authorities urge residents and visitors to stay informed through official channels and plan their journeys accordingly.

The Muscat Classic serves as a prelude to the 14th edition of the Tour of Oman, which will take place from February 8 to 12, 2025. This year’s tour consists of five stages covering a total of 881.4 km, showcasing Oman’s diverse landscapes and challenging terrains.
