Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, at Al Barakah Palace on Monday morning.

During the meeting, Sheikh Fahd conveyed a verbal message from His Highness Sheikh Meshal al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, emphasising the strong bilateral relations between the two nations and their shared commitment to advancing mutual interests.

The discussions focused on enhancing military and security cooperation between Oman and Kuwait, exploring ways to further develop these ties to support stability and security in both countries and across the region.

The meeting was attended by Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, His Excellency Dr Mohammed Nasser al Hajri, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman, and Major General Hamed Manahi Ali al Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior.
