Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP), through the General Department for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, has successfully thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt by sea.

Authorities arrested two individuals who were attempting to smuggle over 75 kilograms of crystal meth, along with quantities of marijuana, hashish, and psychotropic tablets. Legal procedures against the suspects are currently underway.

The authorities have urged the public to report any suspicious activities related to narcotics through official channels, as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug-related crimes in Oman.
