Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned the attack carried out by Israeli occupation forces on the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, which resulted in the deaths of several innocent civilians and caused extensive destruction to infrastructure and property.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman urged the international community to take urgent action to halt these ongoing assaults and hold those responsible accountable. The statement stressed the need for global efforts to establish justice and protect the defenceless population in all occupied Palestinian territories.

Oman reaffirmed its steadfast position in support of a just and lasting peace, in accordance with United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
