New Delhi, India – The Omani Foreign Ministry has affirmed its close monitoring of the case involving an Omani citizen residing in India, who has been subjected to a travel ban following a lawsuit filed against her by a relative.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the decision to prevent the citizen from travelling will remain in effect until the case is resolved or an amicable settlement is reached between the parties involved.

The Omani embassy in New Delhi is actively handling the matter and has appointed a law firm to provide legal representation for the citizen. Additionally, diplomatic efforts are underway to encourage a resolution to the family dispute in accordance with the applicable laws.

The Ministry reassured that the case is receiving significant attention and reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the rights and interests of Omani citizens abroad.
