Registration opens for third edition of ‘Together we advance forum’

8 Jan 2025

Muscat – Registration has officially begun for the third edition of the Together We Advance Forum, scheduled to take place on February 26 – 27, 2025. Organised annually by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the forum serves as a vital platform for communication between the government and society, following the high directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The forum aims to foster open dialogue and collaboration, enhancing societal involvement in shaping national strategies, policies, and future visions. It provides an opportunity for citizens to actively participate in discussions that support Oman’s development goals, allowing them to present constructive insights to inform government programs and initiatives with transparency.

The first day of the forum will feature two discussion sessions: the morning session will focus on the economy and development, addressing key topics such as the eleventh five-year plan, economic diversification, energy, digital economy, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship. The evening session will examine the development of the governorates and their role in driving economic growth. On the second day, three dialogue sessions will cover the future of professions and jobs, the retirement system, and the promotion of culture, sports, and youth.

The first two editions of the forum, held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, attracted over 2,400 participants from across Oman. The forum remains a significant event for national dialogue and policy development.
