Muscat – Under the Royal patronage of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Oman’s promotional brand identity was officially launched at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday.
During the event, His Majesty was briefed on the development process of the logo, which involved extensive community engagement and collaboration between public and private sector entities. It aims to enhance Oman’s image locally, regionally and internationally by unifying its promotional messages, expanding digital content and leveraging global best practices.
The initiative seeks to integrate efforts across government and private institutions to promote Oman as a destination for investment, tourism and residence. His Majesty stressed the importance of consistency and collaboration in achieving this unified vision.
As part of the launch, His Majesty the Sultan reviewed the results of a public vote on slogans. The slogan ‘Partnership’ emerged as the top choice, reflecting the aspirations of Omanis and residents alike. His Majesty stated that the slogan embodies Oman’s strategic approach to modernisation while staying rooted in its cultural values.
“The slogan represents Oman’s aspirations for the future, highlighting its role as a bridge between the East and the West built on mutual trust and cooperation in economic and strategic partnerships.”
His Majesty praised the efforts of public and private sector entities in promoting the voting campaign and appreciated the active participation of community, including citizens and residents. He also commended the Financial and Economic Committee of Council of Ministers for overseeing the process and acknowledged contributions of the National Programme for Private Sector and Foreign Trade Development – Nazdaher.
His Majesty instructed government institutions to adopt the logo in their domains, emphasising the need for unified efforts to ensure successful implementation of the brand identity and enhance Oman’s global presence.
