Muscat – Abraj Energy Services, Omani’s Leading Oil and Gas services provider, has been honored with two distinguished awards at the ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Awards 2024 in Kuwait. The adjudication panel recommended Abraj for the Gold Award for HSE Excellence in the Oil & Gas category, recognizing its leadership in occupational health and safety practices.
Additionally, Abraj received the Silver Award for Best HSE Initiative, recognizing its innovative contributions through the Abraj CCTV Support Center (Abraj Eyes), which plays a key role in advancing workplace safety and environmental responsibility by providing enhanced surveillance and real-time monitoring solutions.
The awards ceremony took place on December 19, 2024, under the patronage of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries, along with international regulatory bodies.

Abraj has solidified its position in the oil and Energy sector through a series of remarkable achievements in 2024, including successfully executing a pioneering fracturing project in Nimr Oil Field, commencing operations at Wafra Oil Field in Kuwait, and launching the HSE Practitioner Program in collaboration with Oman Energy Association (OPAL).
The ASSP GCC HSE Excellence Awards, organized annually by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Kuwait Chapter, celebrate leadership and excellence in HSE practices among private sector organizations in the Gulf region. They aim to highlight successful business models of organizations that uphold HSE management as a business value and excel in performance.
