Users can now access ChatGPT on fixed phones and flip phones for free
OpenAI has launched a new service that allows users in the United States and Canada to access ChatGPT via landline and flip phones. By dialling 1-800-CHATGPT, users can now engage in natural language voice exchanges with ChatGPT for up to 15 minutes per month, free of charge. No subscription or account is required, making it easier for people to interact with the AI assistant.

This innovative move ensures that even users with basic mobile phones or no internet access can communicate with ChatGPT, asking personal queries and receiving assistance on various topics, including language learning.

Access ChatGPT on WhatsApp

In addition to landline and flip phone access, users in other countries can now reach ChatGPT directly on WhatsApp. By texting the number 1-800-242-8478, users can engage with the AI and receive responses to their queries. However, advanced features such as image generation and voice mode are only available through the web or official ChatGPT app.

This new functionality provides an additional, convenient way for people worldwide to interact with ChatGPT, offering a seamless user experience across various platforms.
