Oman to host 41st Gulf Clubs Cup Winners’ Cup in February

Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman, represented by Oman Club, will host the 41st edition of the Gulf Clubs Cup Winners’ Cup from February 15 to 24, 2025.

The tournament draw ceremony will take place tomorrow evening (Wednesday) and will be attended by Musa bin Khamis al Balushi, Chairman of the Oman Handball Federation, alongside members of the Board of Directors, Jihad bin Abdullah al Sheikh, Vice Chairman of Oman Club and Chairman of the Organising Committee, and representatives of the participating Gulf clubs.

The draw ceremony will feature a speech from the organising committee and the official unveiling of the tournament logo. The competition will feature eight clubs: Oman Club and Seeb Club from the Sultanate of Oman, Noor Club from Saudi Arabia, Rayyan Club (the title holder) and Arabi Club from Qatar, Kuwait Club from Kuwait, Dibba al Hisn Club from the United Arab Emirates, and Najma Club from Bahrain.

The participating clubs will be divided into two groups, where teams will compete in a single round-robin league format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, setting the stage for an exciting and competitive tournament.
