Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The joint military exercise ‘Solidarity/1’, involving forces from Oman and Saudi Arabia, has commenced in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to strengthen military cooperation and operational readiness between the two nations.

The exercise features participation from the Oman Coast Battalion of the Infantry Brigade (23) of the Royal Army of Oman and the Second Battalion of the 20th Brigade Group of the Saudi Armed Forces. It will continue until December 26, encompassing a range of joint military operations, strategic planning, and field training exercises.

This initiative is part of the Royal Army of Oman’s training programme, designed to facilitate the exchange of expertise and enhance participants’ skills in executing joint military plans. It also underscores the commitment of Oman and Saudi Arabia to bolstering defence collaboration and fostering stronger ties with regional and international partners.
