Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, highlighting the strong ties between Oman and the Netherlands and exploring areas for further cooperation.

The message was handed over to H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, by H E Stella Kloth, the Dutch Ambassador to Oman, during a meeting on December 8.

The ambassador conveyed King Willem-Alexander’s greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.

The meeting included discussions on bilateral relations and strategies for enhancing collaboration across various sectors. It also touched upon regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Officials from both sides were present at the meeting.
