Salalah – The Coast Guard Police, in collaboration with the Dhofar Governorate Police, have apprehended four Arab nationals attempting to smuggle over 2,400 bundles of khat into the Sultanate of Oman by sea.

In an official statement, the local police confirmed that the suspects were intercepted on board a boat and taken into custody. Legal procedures are currently being finalised against them as investigations are underway.
