The Sultanate of Oman marked the 53rd anniversary of the UAE’s Union with a celebration at the Wajajah border crossing, organised by the General Secretariat for National Celebrations in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police. Citizens and officials from both nations participated in the event.

The celebration featured a warm welcome for UAE officials and citizens, followed by musical performances by the Royal Navy of Oman Music Band. Omani artists, accompanied by folk arts groups, delivered four singing performances, while camels from North Al Batinah showcased the traditional ‘Al Hambal’ art.

The event concluded with a national song highlighting the deep-rooted ties and strong neighbourly relations between Oman and the UAE.
