Muscat – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held a phone conversation with Bassam Sabbagh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria, to discuss the latest developments in Syrian.

Sayyid Badr reaffirmed Oman’s solidarity with Syria, emphasising the importance of safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial unity. He stressed the need to restore security and stability while avoiding the escalation of conflict.

He also called on all parties to prioritise dialogue and political solutions to overcome challenges and achieve peaceful resolutions that serve the interests of the Syrian people, as well as regional security and stability.
