Rustaq, S Bathinah – In a stategic operation, the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, in collaboration with South Batinah Police Command, successfully apprehended three Asian nationals involved in drug possession. The individuals were found in possession of a substantial quantity of crystal meth and hashish, alongside over 630 psychotropic tablets.
The police had been closely monitoring suspicious activities, leading to the identification and capture of the suspects. A police spokesperson confirmed that legal proceedings are currently underway, with the individuals facing serious charges related to drug trafficking and possession. “We are committed to tackling the drug menace and will continue to take strong action against those involved in such illegal activities,” the spokesperson added.
Further investigations are expected to uncover more details about the suspects’ involvement in drug distribution networks.
