Muscat – The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is participating in the Baku International Book Fair, which begans on Tuesday and runs until October 8 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

In a statement, MCSY said that this participation aligns with strategic objectives aimed at promoting Omani culture and enhancing the presence of Omani intellectual production in international forums, in line with the ministry’s vision to broaden its engagement in global book fairs.

The Omani pavilion is designed as a literary and knowledge forum, offering visitors insights into Oman’s rich heritage, both past and present. The ministry has curated an extensive collection of publications covering various literary, artistic, intellectual, and scientific disciplines, with a particular emphasis on translated works.

This cultural participation aims to strengthen cooperation between Oman and Azerbaijan, foster intellectual and literary exchanges, and promote cultural dialogue in authorship.
