Muscat – The World Malayalee Federation (WMF) Oman Council unveiled the poster for the grand cultural event “Maanaviyam – 2024,” which is scheduled to take place on Kerala Piravi Day, November 1st, at the Al Falaj Auditorium in Muscat. The poster launch ceremony was held at Golden Tulip Hotel, Ruwi, in the presence of media representatives and WMF members.
The poster was officially handed over by Ullas Cheriyan, WMF Middle East Regional Coordinator, to Dr. J. Ratnakumar, the Global Chairman of WMF, marking the formal announcement of the highly anticipated event.
The highlight of “Maanaviyam – 2024” will be the participation of Santosh George Kulangara, renowned world traveler, founder of Safari TV, and Managing Director of Labor India Publications. Kulangara is widely known for his solo travelogue series, Sancharam, which he filmed across more than 140 countries.
Additionally, the event will feature a musical concert by playback singers Nadeem Arshad, Bhagyaraj, and their band, along with a comedy show by renowned mimicry artist Rajesh Adimali and his team, promising a captivating and unforgettable evening for the Malayalee community in Oman.
Founded in 2016 with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, under the leadership of Dr. Prince Pallikunnel, WMF now operates in 166 countries across six continents, with 229 representatives. WMF is committed to uniting the global Malayalee diaspora beyond caste, creed, or politics, working towards common benefits for expatriates around the world.
At the event, Dr. J. Ratnakumar expressed WMF’s dedication to serving the global Malayalee community and highlighted the organization’s continued efforts to make a positive impact on society.
The poster launch ceremony was attended by WMF leaders, including National Coordinator Sunil Kumar, National President George P. Rajan, National Secretary Sheikh Rafiq, Global IT Coordinator Sudheer Chandroth, Program Convener Anoop Divakaran, and Media Coordinator Muhammed Yaseen.
“Maanaviyam – 2024” will be managed by Red Cube Events.
