Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held a meeting with Dr S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of India, on Monday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The meeting came within the context of the GCC-India Ministerial Meeting, held at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat General in Riyadh.
The two ministers reviewed march of relations and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. They also explored areas of partnership between the two sides.
They also touched on a set of current regional security issues.
Moreover, the two ministers underlined the importance of joint coordination to maintain regional security and stability, as well as de-escalation and making all efforts to this end, while committing to implementing the rules of international law to establish security, peace and justice for all.
The meeting was attended by H H Sayyid Faisal bin Turky al Said, Ambassador of Oman to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashil al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neigbourhood Department and a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
