Salalah – Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) will host Green Mobility Forum in Salalah on September 19. The event aims to promote awareness on achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and highlight the importance of electric vehicles (EVs) in Oman. Additionally, it will showcase the latest advancements and solutions in sustainable mobility.

The ministry is also organising a four-day exhibition of EVs in Salalah, designed to boost awareness about green mobility and advocate the use of these cars across the country. Cutting-edge EVs are being showcased, ranging from new models to the latest EV technology, at the exhibition. Continuing till August 30, it features an area where children can test-drive miniature electric cars, a drawing and colouring circle for creative expression, and an interactive theatre with performances that educate and inspire about sustainable transportation.

Additionally, sponsoring companies have the opportunity to display their latest products and services in a special showcase area.
