Suhar – Alexei Bogdanov, Minister of Trade and Antimonopoly Regulation in the Republic of Belarus, and his delegation visited North Batinah on Tuesday to explore investment opportunities and learn about major economic projects in the wilayat of Suhar.

During the visit, the minister met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al Busaidi, wali of Suhar.

The discussion included a detailed overview of current and future investment opportunities in various sectors including ports, agriculture, fisheries, mining, and the oil and transformation industries.

Highlights of the meeting included information about the Sohar Port, the Free Zone, and Sohar Industrial City, as well as the logistical services supporting these projects.

They also reviewed the latest developments in the 303km railway network connecting Suhar with Abu Dhabi.
