Muscat – In preparation of the upcoming Eid al Adha festival, South Batinah Municipality has undertaken several awareness campaigns aimed at ensuring the health and safety of the community.

According to a statement released by the municipality, various departments in the governorate have implemented programmes focused on raising awareness and preventing potential health hazards.

The civic body in Rustaq has been actively distributing awareness leaflets among citizens, emphasising the significance of slaughtering sacrificial animals in designated slaughterhouses and proper handling of sacrificial waste.

Specialists from the municipality in Musannah conducted inspection visits to restaurants, cafes and food stores to assess compliance with health regulations.
